Time of past OR future Camino
Past: St. Jean to Santiago October 2019
Future: Portugal 2020?
Hello, everyone!

I was wondering if anyone could put me in touch with someone who was walking from St. Jean to Roncesvalles on September 21 this year. That was the day it rained and rained! He's about 35, is German/Croatian, lives in Nuremberg, glasses, had a green rain jacket and yellow backpack cover. He started his Camino much earlier farther into France so already had lots of friends on the trail, so I'm hoping someone has his contact info. It was my first day on the Camino and I didn't realize how the trail worked with people coming and going at different paces and that I wouldn't see him again. I know everyone walks the Camino for their own reasons, some deeply personal and difficult, and I am no exception to that. So I was terrified my first day and pretty emotional. But this guy saved me from getting lost and then walked with me for 6 hours in the rain and very kindly talked to me the whole time and I am positive I wouldn't have gotten over the mountain without him. I never said thank you though, which was so stupid!!! I've been thinking about that regret ever since I got home, and for many many miles on the Camino...the need to say thank you is just not going away and is really bugging me. I'm sure lots of you have Camino angel stories? This is mine.

Attached are some pictures from that day, including one he took of me on my phone.

Fingers crossed someone can find him for me :)

Thanks!,

Molly

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
