Frances first half from St Jean (to be completed 2019)
Hello,
In September we are completing the Camino Frances and want to send 2 suitcases from St Jean to Santiago. I see that Express Bourricot does it. It's not cheap. Is it cheaper with the post office or is there someone else that does it?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Express Bourricot isn't cheap, but it's very convenient, and when you compare the cost to the post office and storage with Ivar the cost doesn't seem too high for the convenience. I used the Correos to send to Ivar last year, and it cost about 22€ to send my bag, plus about 20€ for storage. I've also read that when mailing between France and Spain that bags can go astray, so some people pay for bag transport until they can get to the Correos office in Spain, which will add at least 10€ to the cost. Plus the hassle factor of having to physically take your suitcase to the post office.

I just used Express Bourricot for the second time the other day. You simply go to their office next to the Pilgrims Office in SJPDP, pay their fee and they will give you a tag for your bag, and instructions on where to pick it up in Santiago, which is Hostal Lasalle. You then leave your tagged bag at your accommodation in the morning before you start walking. The hostal has 24 hour reception, so you can pick it up anytime you want. They will also give you a 20% discount on a room there.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
