Time of past OR future Camino
This is our first Camino
we are planning to leave SJPdP on September 20 on our second pilgrimage. We have been travelling in Europ and have extra luggage. Can we send luggage directly to Santiago for pick up 30+ days later? Thanks

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

One way that you can sent luggage direct from SJPdP to SdC is via Express Bourricot. See more in their web.

Good luck and Buen camino!

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
The Express Bourricot website seems to say that luggage transport from SJPdP to SdC is not available at this time. Is this correct? Are any other options available? I have travel plans that will get me to SJPdP this Sunday, 17 Oct. I'm becoming afraid that I might have screwed up with my plans. I sure hope someone can assuage my fears!
Thank you,
Bob

Bob,
If that is the case. You might consider sending the luggage from SJPdP in a taxi to wherever it might be sent via the Spanish service Correos to SdC.

From the web hot link in blue you can send them a note. They are very prompt to reply and multi-lingual.

Good luck and Buen camino.

Sunday? I think you can just ship from the french post office to Casa Ivar, but probably not on Sunday:

Also there is a spanish post office in Burguete, which is just past Roncevalles. From there possibly you can ship with Correos (Spanish government post office) using their luggage storage service in Santiago. Seems to be only open weekday morning, and you have to figure out how to get your luggage there.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Will you be in Spain the day before you arrive in SJPdP?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
