- 2017 (Sept/Oct): CF: SJPdP-->Fisterra-->Muxia (solo)
2019 (late Sept): CF: SJPdP-->Leon (honeymoon!)
I walked CF in September-October of 2017. During that time I decided I wanted to return home and propose to my girlfriend. I also proposed she plan the wedding and I plan the honeymoon. Through a combination of smoke, mirrors, and luck she said yes to all. So, my fiancee (then wife) & I will be starting our Camino Frances honeymoon, part 1 (this year SJPdP to Leon, part 2 in 2020 Leon to Muxia/Finisterre). I'm adding our SJPdP start date of September 28 (which happens to be her 38th birthday...did I plan this well or what??), to the forum calendar. Are you starting in September? If you'd like to add your start date to the calendar too here are the instructions to do so:

We are very excited and counting down the days...literally. Remember in grade school when you cut out pieces of construction paper and made a "chain link"? Recently, my fiancee and I spent time finishing our "Camino countdown chain". We made a construction paper "link" representing every day until the start of our Camino. Each link is numbered and represents a day. The completed chain is strung around the living room. Each day we wake up and take a link off the chain. There is something psychological to seeing the chain get shorter and shorter. (Makes for heck of a conversation starter for guests too). Right now the chain is so big (181 links) I can't get it all in one photo but this gives you an idea of what I'm trying to describe for those are totally confused:
Buen Camino to all!
