Seven Days Walking (Music)

Time of past OR future Camino
1998
I'm sure many of you are familiar with the piano compositions of Ludovico Einaudi. So, this post is for those who are not yet familiar with this musical genius.

If you like mellow, classical-ish piano music and you like walking, then you must give a listen to his piece, "Seven Days Walking."

Apparently, Einaudi composed this amazing piece while wandering in a snowstorm in Switzerland.

This music never fails to mentally transport me back to the Camino.

Enjoy....

bumped into it couple of months ago, but not sure, if this is risen in a Snowstorm in Switzerland :) but I like it though!!!

Really mellow -like it. For me I don't listen much to my music on the Camino. However iI always start with 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' as I head up from SJPP to Pyreness.
Also I can't resist putting on 'I'm Still Standing' as I arrive in Santiago.
Tradition you know! ---)

Love this - thanks for the recommendation!
- have been listening on my walk and at home and added to my playlist for an eventual camino after having to postpone last minute in 2020

Glad you like it! What amazes me is how all six hours are really good.

I do love Ludovico Einaudi but I would be afraid the music would influence my pace of walking….very slowly! 👣😄

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
