I have been hiking through the Pyrenees for the last month and have a lot of camping gear I will not need on the camino. Is there a way to ship it somewhere in Santiago? Where I could pick it up after my hike? Thank you & Happy Trails!

Speak to the baggage transporters who pick up bags at albergues. Ours was sent to La Salle Hostel in Santiago. We sent it from Pamplona and paid 50 euros. We picked it up after 5 weeks. There were no storage fees. You can even book to stay there after your walk when you know when you’ll finish

Thanks so much. I didn't know if that was a common problem. All is a bit short planned, as I got snowed out of my trail... Guess I'll carry it all into Spain and then see there.

1. Send it from any Correos:
1.1 to Ivar here, in the forum. it is a service he offers and he accepts most anything.
1.2 to the Correos. They hold it for free for 15 days (IIRC) then apply a nominal daily charge.

2. Sent it through the Correos to you reserved lodging in Santiago, but only after you obtain permission from them to do so.

3. Donate surplus to needs gear at an albergue...

Hope this helps.
