hi

Im starting my walking on Tuesday 2nd May and spending my first night in Orisson. i wondering if it will be a busy start on this day or will most folk have gone through on the WE or Monday?.. Anyone else starting on the Tuesday?

Hi Martin,
I will start my walk from SJPDP on the 2nd as well, and spending my first night at Orrison. (I have made my reservation there). So at least there will be the two of us see you in six weeks.

Hola Hana - and welcome to the Forum, as for traffice (walkers) departing St Jean given that May 1st is a national public holiday in both France and Spain the trail might be a bit more crowded than later in the week. BTW I note you are planning to stay at Orisson - have you booked your bed? If not I suggest you contact them directly - from what has been posted here lately they appear to be very popular this first week in May. Cheers for now - see you on the Camino - I am starting from St Jean on May 1st. ;)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
