SJPP to Roncesvalles weather

Can someone please advise as to current weather, snow level in the mountains. We are planning to begin our camino in late April 2013 and are concerned about the photos of snow, mud when it melts, etc.

When you check in at the Pilgrim's Office for credential etc, they will give you information about the Napoleon and Valcarlos routes, and will advise you whether it is safe to attempt the higher route or not. Weather conditions can change quite quickly. It's a fact of spring really that some of the paths will be muddy if there has been snow or rain.
