Sleeping bag or just a liner in July

We're heading out to Oviedo on 5th July and intending to walk the Camino Primitivo. We've seen postings here recently about the bad weather and mud on the Camino Primitivo. I'm hoping that things have improved now. We'll be taking good water-proof jackets and trousers in any case. I'd just like to get some opinions on whether we should take our light-weight sleeping bags or just the silk liners? Any suggestions please?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Just liners in my view. That's all we took on the Primitivo that we finished just over two weeks ago and we weren't cold at night. All the albergues that we stayed in had blankets.

Thank you.

liner...
and for those about to do a Frances in July? liner

I've only walked in the summer - July, August, September, and take a silk liner and a tiny 7 ounce down blanket that I can tuck inside the liner for extra warmth when I need it so that I don't have to rely on iffy looking albergue blankets. As a bonus I use it between my silk liner and sticky plastic covered mattresses on hot nights.

Agree with the other comments. Just back last week from the Primitivo and warm most nights in a liner and as also stated blankets were available.

This year the weather is rather changeable. I had a thin Decathlon sleeping bag (the popular green one), but it was often so cold that I had to sleep with my jumper on.
