sleeping bag weight-raingear

We are now deciding on weight of sleeping bag-we have a 60 degree bag that weighs 1 1/2 lb and another 40 degree bag that is cosier but weighs an additional pound. How warm are the refugios? We are walking in Sep. Also, does the advice below about goretex rain jacket apply to September? I'm thinking of getting a poncho instead. Chris (indigoE)

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-

Chris:
We had it quite hot in early October, so September can be expected to be even hotter, generally. Though, there can be wet and somewhat chilly days sprinkled in too, depending on, well, the weather and where you are. Again, a raincape will serve you excellent in those conditions, better than a rainjacket. Ventilation is the key.
The refugios are warm overnight, sometimes very. That sleeping bag that Geofones had seems a perfect choice for the conditions.

Geofones:
Nice sleeping bag! Backpack just 6 kilos, that's something, well done!

I always wonder how people can get such a light backpack. My backpack itself was already 1.5kg. So I when I read 6, really my eyes go    I couln't get it under 12 (water excluded)

For the sleeping bag... I'd take a light one. When you're cold, you can always put on some extra clothes
