Probably been covered elsewhere,
Sleeping bag and waterproof trousers, starting from Lisboa 19th Sept for three weeks. ?
Needed them on the Primitivo in April this year, but didn't on the French way last August, any thoughts ?
Cheers Bill

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi Bill, a lightweight sleeping bag any time of the year on any camino is a life saver when you need it. Expect rain any time Sep to Apr and you will be glad of those rain pants. Jill

Thanks, Jill was hoping to keep my pack down to the 3kg I finished with last year, after posting 2.85kg on from Sarria to Santiago, took me almost three weeks to lessen my load ! but glad of a bit more in rainy Gallicia,
Choices .

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Hi Bill, 3kg is not heavy. 7kg is my breaking point. August is still summer; you might need a little more warmth in September, with the cold and rain . . .

You never know about the weather. It depends on your own tolerance to cold or heat. I think you would be fine with a silk liner. If it is cooler some nights you can always sleep in some clothes. Save the weight and the space.

I'll take the pants and a silk liner.
I have a long sleeve t-shirt and a light fleece jacket too for colder nights. But I can't get my pack weight down like you. 7,5kg with water and food.
Buen Camino 😎
