Hi
In mid October doing Camino Portuguese do I
Need to bring sleeping bag (corona…)

Recommendation on places to see and sleeping places?
Thank you

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I did the central route this summer, and if you use private albergues, they will usually give you bedding. I was very pleasantly surprised. One place I highly recommend is Casa Fernanda. She and her husband do dinner and breakfast, are incredibly friendly. They have a real heart for pilgrims!

I think you will need a sleeping bag especially in Galicia as due to Covid they are not supplying blankets in the municipal albergues.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I did the Portuguese from Lisbon via the central in 2019. It was in March and I used my sleeping bag all the time whether bedding was supplied or not. Sleeping bag did not weigh much and it just meant wherever I stopped I had my bedding and I knew where it had been and with whom :). Realize March is not October but for the weight involved I would definitely take a sleeping bag, just gives control and choice if desired.
Cheers

Am on the Camino Frances right now - currently in Rabanal. In 3 1/2 weeks on the CF so far, we have used sleeping bags virtually every night (except occasional stays in hotels). My wife and I bought bags rated to 50 degrees Fahrenheit and have thought those bags with that rating have been one of the best gear selections we've made.

Just finished the Coastal from Lisbon, to Fatima and then to Santiago on October 1, I did all under $5- $20 euros Albergue and hostels. Only used my liner 2 times at public Albergues. Everyone seems to provide full sheets, towels and blankets due to Covid!

I second the recommendation for Casa Fernanda. Stayed there a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant!

I would like to walk the river route in Tui next month. I can see on google maps exactly where it starts, but it seems a bit overgrown. Has anybody used this route this year or last year...
Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
Hi I have searched everywhere to see if there is a luggage service from Lisbon to Porto. I know there is from Porto to Santiago, but Lisbon ???. Thanks for any info.
