Sleeping in albergue without walking?

Hi everyone!
I didn't find answer to one question I have (akward if there is that subject already, but I hope you all forgive).

My train arrives in Ponferrada 15:05 and I planned to find a place to sleep and just be there in the city, look around, live in and start walking first thing in the next morning.

So, without any walking done, can I still get a bed in albergue or should I think about private hostels?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Everyone has to start somewhere! Arrive with credencial to stamp and you'll be ok.

You can stay in the Ponfeŕrada albergue San Nicolas de Flue on your first night without walking that day. They are open mid afternoon until 22:30. They also issue Cendencials.
