Snow at A Gudiña this weekend

On our way to easter vacation, I drove by A Gudiña (Via de la Plata) and saw snow (about 3-4cm). Not much, but still.... grey skies and 3c.

So, be prepared for any type of weather.

Buen Camino!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thank you for that, Ivar!

I'm going to Malaga next Monday: Will stay in the south a couple of days before going to Salamanca and start walking from there at the end of next week! Hopefully without snow: I am sitting in a heap of snow up here in Arctic Norway right now!

Crazy! It was something like 28 when I was there just a couple of weeks ago.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
There's a snow alert and -1°C temperature for the Pamplona area tomorrow night at wunderground.com.
Must be much colder in the Pyrenees and Roncesvalles...

...and snow at O Cebreiro as well!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I don't think there's snow there at the moment, but there's a LOT of snow still to be seen on the mountain tops.
Weather conditions at the moment are steady light rain showers, and occasional torrential downpours (in Santiago, where I type this in a Cyber shop, having regretfully had to abandon my VdlP attempt due to severe blistering and the atrocious weather).
Buen camino!
Stephen.

Stephen,

I am sorry to learn of your troubles. Rest your feet and relax. Another Camino under sunny skies waits in the future. Keep up the good fight!

So sorry Stephen, I know how much you were looking forward to this camino. The weather is 'out of normal' you have been unlucky, there will have been a reason. I look forward to hearing of your next one.
