Snow, wind and cold weather

About a week ago, we had over 20c during the day (about 8-9c at ngiht), but this has now changed due to a cold-front coming from the north.

In this video you can see some weather from around Spain as of yesterday (October 28th 2008). As you can see, it looks like winter many places, snow over 700 meters.

The cold weather comes early this year, but it is not unheard of.

It looks like snow on O Cebreiro if you look at the webcam.

But it's not really easy to see since the picture is quite bright.

probably means there's snow/frost/ice on the lens.
We had snow here yesterday. Quite unusual, as we're more or less at sea level.

This morning at this moment (8am)here in Florida... 28 Fahrenheit = -2Celsius.
Darn weather fortune tellers expected mid thirties not twenties and now my plants are probably frozen!

The BBC reports that it has snowed in London - the first time in October for 34 years. Do you think this heralds a cold winter?
