I'll put cloches over the Italian Parsley tomorrow; harvest the last of the chillies in the Potting Shed and fleece up the baby peas and broad beans.

Mera, thanks for your thoughts. I am well past the snowy stuff and warm and happy in Melide for tonight. Polpo and Albariño for dinner in the famous restaurant. I think I have died and gone to Heaven.

Just in case you think this is bizarre, it's normal this time of year. There are high mountains - one over 4000m - so naturally when there's a winter storm there can be snow above 3000m or so. From my home town:
