I always tried to get a bottom bed closest to the door. At one albergue I had my back pack just outside the door and in my bunk I kept only my valuables, electronics, ID, money etc and my sleeping bag liner I slept in. I got up every morning at 5, grabbed my bag with all of my valuables, my sleeping bag liner and did a sweep of my bunk with the light of the phone screen to make sure I didn't leave anything.</p></blockquote><p></p>
