Some notes on the Spanish camino and the GR65

After done both of them twice, after sending many friends to walk both parts over the year I think and admit of liking the GR65 more then the Spanish camino. The GR is more authentic, I felt the spirit was stronger, less commercialism, more joy of life. the gites are more wellcoming, the food is better. The Camino is just a different experience, a good one for sure but if one wants to compare, there it is.

Zammy, I'm not sure if your question is directed to me. If so, I'm planning on departing Le Puy on 23rd May heading for SJPP. I have 38 days up my sleeve.
:)

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I leave LePuy on May 19th or 20th and only have about 14-16 days on this route and will then find transportation to Porto to begin the Portuguese coastal. Can someone give me some help regarding how to get off of GR65 and get to a larger city airport such as in Bordeaux? Taxis, buses, trains? Have heard that it is not very easy compared to the Camino Frances.
