I read these lines just now, and offer them just in case they might be an inspiration for anyone feeling the pain of putting one foot in front of the other....
“Joy is there when we put ourselves fully into something. Small children, when they laugh, are all laughter; when they cry they are all sadness. But a little later we learn to drag ourselves along: half-way into things and no more: half in and half out, hovering like ghosts. If we walked like that we would resemble someone a hundred years old. When we walk freely we put all our weight on the forward foot; we entrust ourselves to the future and we leave the past behind. “
Buen Camino.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Today this is just what I needed to hear. Thanks for providing me (us) with these words.

I would like to add that if anybody wants the source of the quote, you can pm me. It comes from a daily reflection I use, but it is not for the forum, as it is religious in nature. I just extracted that section today as I thought it was so apt, and am glad it has been useful.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I realized that when walking(or dancing) I unfold the wings folded in my backpack and I fly.

I do appreciate all of your words and thoughts!! My husband and I just walked 13 miles yesterday and it was the most we have ever walked at one time. It was hard but talking together and listening to positive inspiring music helped a lot. We leave May 24th for the Camino and are excitedly scared and thrilled and overjoyed all at the same time.
