Spain & Google Map

Google has made an update of their Google map service in Europe over the last few days. Among other countries, Spain now as much better "coverage" and you can now use Google map to search the different caminos and locations along the way.

as maps, Michelin's http://www.viamichelin.com/ are much superior. IMO where Google scores is what they call 'hybrid' - map and aerial photo combined. When you look at an aerial photo of Santiago, you realise what a mess the authorities made of Mte Gozo.

the other big thing google maps has going for it is the quite powerful API - should be relatively easy to overlay the maps with the outline of a route. I will look into this, er, mañana, mañana, when I have some time.
