Spier and the Camino effect

So I went to visit someone I met on the Camino a few weeks ago and we visited the small town of Spier in SW Germany. Nice town... and there was a statue of a pilgrim! Made me want to do it again... Or at least a part of it. I swore blind that I wouldn't do it next year, but....... :roll:

assuming you mean Speyer (or Spires as it used to be called in English), I assume the pilgrim you saw was this one
