St Jean in early March

Time of past OR future Camino
Yes
The accommodation of choice in SJPP is obviously L'Esprit...but it does not open until April 1 and I will be there about 13 March. Bummer....but what is the next best choice. I think there was a discussion about this earlier but I can't seem to find it.
I have been asked by several others about this same situation but have not had an answer and don't know what I intend to do yet.
Any suggestions for those of us in March??

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I think you are referring to Esprit du Chemin which is closed until April.

I wonder is local albergue open? (just up the street, same side)

Buen Camino.
Or did you mean the municipal refuge, not far up from the Pilgrim's Office? This can't be reserved and has room for 24 people. My 'old' Miam Miam Dodo from 2008 says this is open mid-March - not sure if this will be the same for 2010 or not.

Yes, Margaret that's it. I stayed there after walking from Roncavalles to SJPP on my first camino outing.
Sil, I also peeped into L'Esprit du Chemin and was a bit envious that they were completo / complet.

Buen Camino
