Camino Portugues (2003)
Hi everyone,
I'm starting the Camino Primitivo by myself on March 27th, 2018... flying from Dublin so will get a stamp in St. James's Gate on the way. Does that make it the Camino Irlandes?
It's 15 years since I did the Portuguese route with a friend; a 9kg bag in August heat compensated for our minimum distance!! So in a way I feel like a newbie. But I'll take the same 35L Lowe Alpine bag, for the sake of nostalgia.
This time I'm happier about the cooler temperatures and will enjoy a pilgrimmy atmosphere over the Easter weekend.
I'm grateful for this forum, it's full of great advice and also sounds like quite a lot of fun.
Orlagh.
