Im planning on staying with family in Barcelona before joining the Camino del Norte and have about 2 weeks. I dont actually want to get to Santiago as this is my third Camino (Previously walked the Camino Frances and Portuguese), am more interested in the countryside and experience and to reach an airport that can get me back to Ireland or UK. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you start from Irun you could walk to Santander in 12-13 days. The countryside is very nice. There's an airport in Santander with Ryanair flights to both the UK and Ireland.
