New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
It states on their website here: http://www.casamorgade.com that they are 99.5km but also that the house is "Se encuentra a 500 metros del "KM 100", desde cual se tiene derecho a ganar la compostelana" = "Can be found 500m from the KM100 point, therefor you have the right to apply for a Compostela." I guess it is cutting it a bit thin. Buen Camino, SY

I agree with Sybille that starting at Morgade is cutting it very thin indeed. I do not know if there is n access road so you can drive there from Sarria. There likely is, but I have not paid attention.

The new hostal there looks to be very nice. I stop there for coffee and a "pit stop" every time I pass by. In 2013 the hostal was not there. In 2014, the owners remodeled and opened the hostal.

As to the precise location, sooner or later, someone will photograph the 99.5 KM distance post, relative to the hostal. THAT will positively place the hostal on the good or bad (short) side of the line. For the sake of the proprietors, I hope their building is, in fact 500 meters to the good.

Your question is already answerd, the only thing I have to do is to wish you a Buen Camino, Peter.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Thank you All. GBU.

We are planning to do it end sept and to reach sdc on my bday in october.

I am muslim btw from Indonesia, so excited for this. Wanna do something spiritual for my bday. I went to mecca for hajj more than a decade ago. Always fascinated by pilgrimages, and Camino Santiago is always in mind. I guess it is time to do it.

Thanks all again

if you want to avoid any (possible) drama at the pilgrim's office, there's a bar/café/bakery with a stamp in Peruscallo, about 3 km from Morgade and easy access for a taxi (?), which is definitely legit as it is over the 100 km mark.
