This will be our first Camino and due to logistics and time I've decided to start my camino in Pamplona. Will be taking train from Barcelona arriving mid afternoon. Any suggestions from others who have been there and done that would be much appreciated.
Cheers. :)

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

I can recommend the smaller albergue Casa Paderbon run by the German St James confraternity.
Quiet and next to the nautical centre.

Albergue Aloha is terrific: it’s a lovely old building, quite modern and very clean, and it has a great sitting area and a lovely rooftop terrace. Close to the Camino as well..,

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I stayed at the Aloha as well. Very clean and you can cook if you wish. Also a good breakfast is provided. Very close to the bus station and easy to get back on the Camino.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
