Starting out in September

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Buen Camino! Enjoy every minute of it and do come back to finish it off. Only two weeks? How sad. I would walk it very slowly, pop into every church, sniff around every village and town for architecture and art, museums, stop to drink a lot of coffee in the mornings, stop to drink a lot of beer in the afternoons (wouldn't wand to dehydrate now would you), enjoy the food, seek out the camaraderie of other pilgrims, take hundreds of photographs and enjoy everything the Camino has to offer.. The Camino has been here for a 1000 years it will still be here waiting for you next year, next decade, next reincarnation!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Ok, so I'm now in Pamplona. Made a big mistake not booking rooms along the way very difficult finding beds available at the moment.
I didn't realise how many people would be walking, everyone was saying September would be quieter!!! How wrong were they!
Hey hi, let's see how we go.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
everyone was saying September would be quieter!!!
Who would say that? No one on this forum! August is the busiest month from Sarria, but September and May are the busiest from SJPP. In any case, I'm sure you will have the time of your life. Buen camino, and please let us know how it goes.
