My wife and I are 13 days away from starting our pilgrimage on the Camino Frances (Sept 6)-- we're both as excited and as nervous as can be. We're arriving in St. Jean on Sept 4. If anyone else is there then, and would like to meet up to say hello, please let us know!

Hi Thorn, Buen Camino I am starting in Valencia but I remember my starts in SJPDP they were both exciting and beautiful with all the other pilgrims getting ready, the air is full of nervous energy, but this one that I leave on will be quiet. Smile and greet all with a friendly Buen Camino and remember if you need help just stop and ask.

Hi My husband and I are flying out of JFK Sunday 9/4. We'll be in NYC the next two days helping our daughter move. Maybe we will see you in S.t Jean. We're staying at Orisson 9/6. If you'd like to get together in the city maybe Thursday evening??? pm me - Cherry

I am flying in to Madrid Sept 3rd. I am hoping to be there on Sunday 4th to walk on the 5th. So far no luck with accommodations in town.

Oh, my plan is to arrive in St Jean 6th and depart for Roncesvalles the following morning, but that assumes I can do Lourdes to St Jean and that, my friend, remains to be seen!!!
Will have to have a beer if we catch up along the way!
