Camino Frances August 2015
Hi guys,
Starting my camino Frances tomorrow flying into Biarritz at 12.40. My concerns are I've read somewhere about a train strike happening tomorrow and when i check the SNCF website the trains show as cancelled for Saturday. My plan was to get a bus from the airport to Bayonne to grab the train. Can anyone confirm if this is strike is still going ahead or any alternative options for me?? Ive contacted a few private run travelling companies but they're booked out. Help ASAP would be great :(.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Yes SNCF/TER Aquitaine has announced a strike which is scheduled to end at 08:00 am on 2 August. Read more in French about the strike here.

Take PESA or Conda (ALSA) bus from Biarritz airport to San Sebastian/Donostia - OR - take Transports64 #816 bus from Airport to Gare d'Hendaye, then take Euskotren from Hendaye to San Sebastian Amara station. The outdoor bus station is at Plaza Pio XII, 700 meters from Amara station.

Then take ALSA bus from San Sebastian to Pamplona.

If you still want to continue on take another Conda (ALSA) bus from Pamplona to Roncesvalles or SJPdP. Autocares Arteida offers transport from Pamplona to Roncesvalles.

Note: CONDA (ALSA) operates a bus from San Sebastian to SJPdP via Biarritz Airport. What I can't figure out is if that bus is permitted to pick up passengers in France (at the airport at 1445) for destinations in France (SJPdP).
