The 4th and 5th of October is celebrated in Merida the II International Congress on Mozarabic Camino de Santiago, which aims to disseminate the values ​​in this way, sensitize government for adequate protection and promotion, support research and its values closer to the general one of the cultural routes of the Iberian Peninsula.

The scientific committee of the II International Congress invited to participate in the congress presented technical papers that fall within the themes developed in any of the papers and framework ranging from the role of pilgrimages in history: the spiritual, cultural and economic, cultural routes, pilgrimages and rural development, the Mozarabic Camino de Santiago: present, past and future and the Camino de Santiago as an element of European identity. May be submitted until August 30.
