Suggested stages for Chemin de Stevenson

We are walking the RLS trail in August this year. We had planned to do it in 11to 12 days. However, one day would be from the Abbaye Notre -Dame-Des-Neiges to Les Alpiers. In the Ciccerone guidebook this is listed as a stage, and in MMDD it works out to be 31km. I am wondering if anyone has walked this in one day. A long day does not concern us as long as the terrain is not too difficult.
Also, wondering what stages others have done on this walk.
