If you will carry it along, I will drink it... fortunately, red wine is properly served at ambient temperature, so refrigeration is not needed. Just avoid walking in June, July or August, at least too much after sunrise.

Looking on the bright side, if it were vino blanco, it might get heavy...

Hmmm? Maybe a two wheeled cart, fashioned from a golf bag cart, but with beefier wheels might help. The wheels need to be pneumatic or air filled so as to not jostle the 'must' at the bottom of the bottle too much. Beach cart wheels would work best.

Is that on the De La Plata? I know the wine, an ex-pat Canadian acquaintance who lives near Badajoz calls it Ribera del Giardia because of the effect it has on his partner!
