Just checking - if someone has their bike all packaged up from their flight to Madrid, it there any problem taking it on the bus (or train) to Pamplona and bus to Roncesvalles?

The only problem, apart from having to purchase a "bike luggage ticket" is that usually there is a maximum to two bikes per bus (Alsa's limit), so it there are already two bikes in storage yours may not be permitted. Oh and you do not get a refund on the bike fare!!.
But as you are departing from Madrid airport you should be ok. No info on buses to Roncesvalles!!
