Camino Frances at the end of June
I'm joining fellow walkers for the last leg of the Camino Frances. I can take a bus to Guntin de Pallares from Santiago de Compostela but need to take a taxi from Guntin de Pallares to our meeting point in Portomarín. Any thoughts, dear Camino Frances Community? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions! Peace.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi Bette CZ! Welcome to the forum!

If you have the time, it would be cheaper to take a bus from Santiago de Compostela to Lugo (with www.empresafreire.com) and another one from Lugo to Portomarín (with www.empresaportomarin.com or with www.monbus.es depending which schedule suits you better).

P.S.: I asume you already know that starting in Portomarín doesn't entitle you to get a Compostela.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Thank you so much, Castilian, for your post! I will explore those bus sites now. Regarding your P.S., the Compostela is less important than the journey that I am able to make in the company of wonderful companions! :)
