Bus takes 6 hours and train 5 hours. Do not think taxi is a solution for most peregrinos. I would guess at least 500- 700 euros.

I'm sure it's expensive, but in my experience the rate is about 1 euro per km for long distance hauls, so that would bring it down from the 500-700 estimate. With such a long ride, you may also be able to negotiate something off the standard rate. Not the way I would ever get to Leon, but to each his/her own! Buen camino, Laurie
