Telescopic poles on Vueling - checkin?

We are flying fr Santiago to Barcelona. Have checked in baggage. If we secure our telescopic poles (66cm at shortest) to our packs & wrap the pack & poles together with cling-film / plastic wrap - do you think we can check that in with Vueling? Open to suggestions? Thanks

I would probably go to one of those bazaar type stores and buy a cheap bag to put them in to check them in.

I think you will be OK; but at the risk of them being damaged. Maybe arrange them so them at they are together but opposed - such that there’s a handle at each if that makes sense. I’d second the ‘China store bag’ option as a better alternative.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Is there the possibility to fit your poles inside your checked in baggage? I have flown with Veuling several times from Santiago to Barcelona using this method with no problems.

I’ve heard that isn’t possible to take omboard walking poles. So I’m going to fit them into a sturdy cardboard poster tube, and place my backpack and the tube into an Osprey airporter and check them in together. Hope this helps.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.
