I look forward to your Monday updates......they are really good even in these sad circumstances.....please keep them going when better times return; a weekly brief report, live from Santiago, is a really good idea and you do these little films so well. Thanks a million !
Thanks for all you do and all your efforts for us on the forum! (although i am only a sproglet )
In this difficult time it's a place i come to escape, and listen to all the adventures that pilgrims from across the World have had on Camino ;it colours my life and is a joyful place to be.
I wish you and your family well and have great hope for us all in 2021.
We will have a Happy New Year!
Ivar, I am looking forward to your videos in 2021, especially showing a bustling Santiago and then your annoucement that Spain is open to tourists from the USA and other banned nations abroad. That time will be, indeed, a new year, for many of us! Be safe out there!
I agree with all of the above comments. The videos are a reminder of my own memories of Santiago, and help to keep us abreast of what is happening in the "here and now". Thank you for the updates and hope they will continue.
Thank you, Ivar. I love these videos— vignettes from Santiago. Who knows when we will get there again, so it's lovely to see it. Don't imagine that they might be repetitive — it doesn't matter one bit.
Be assured, Ivar, that I and. I am certain, many in the Forum long to give you a hug, a real, honest-to-vaccine-and-herd-immunity-effective-viral-infection-free-soul-to-soul hug, when I arrive in Santiago from (fill in route to be determined here), Autumn (if St James is willing and the vaccine arrives in time)...2021? May the Lord/Spirit/Creator continue to keep you and your family safe and warm (or cool!); all the needs of your life met and continuously flowing to you. Trust in the enrichment, love and respect our global community holds for you and your devotion to our powerful and precious pilgrimage.
Thanks Ivar. I hope we can join you there in 2021. Such a long wait. Your updates have kept the dream alive. All the best to you and your family. Hopes and prayers for a much better year ahead for us all.
Hi Ivar -
Thanks so much for your weekly updates and also for the Zoom meetings. With your videos we get the latest news and we get to see our beloved Santiago which, in whatever the weather, always has a magical vibe.
Best wishes to you and your family and also to the Camino locals in Santiago - Sybille, Nate and Faith and Wise Pilgrim Michael.
And cheers for the New Year -
Happy New Year, Ivar. Sending a Buen Camino from NYC. Thank you so much for all you do and have done for peregrinos everywhere, especially your updates during this anxious year. Looking forward to walking again when Spain is ready. Ultriea!
Like all of the many others who have commented, I appreciate you and the videos that you share with us. This has been a challenging year but each week you offer a short glimpse of life in Santiago, which is steadying and appreciated. Wishing health and happiness to you and your family in 2021.
