Well I have just finished the Corfu Trail as an alternative to the Camino's. I have walked the Camino Frances and several long distance paths and have to say this one was very different. Not so many miles a day but very rugged and surprisingly remote in places. Only saw 3 other couples walking it and spent a lot of time on my own in remote areas. Must say I loved it. Check it out those looking for something a bit different.

I've been thinking about this one ever since I devoured The Durrells a few years back. Looks incredible!!

I just Googled this trail. Looks very interesting. Any issues getting accommodations at night?

Accommodation is not the same as on the Camino's. Although there is plenty available in the beach side towns and villages it is not so easy in the mountain villages. I booked all mine in advance using Booking.com, Air B & B and Hotels.com. Managed to find somewhere to stay in all the places I intended to stay overnight. Prices ranged from about £30.00 to £50.00 and were all of a good standard. Quite a few even had swimming pools.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hello! I'm starting research on the VF and, having walked the Camino Francés, I wonder how laundry/hand washing facilities and situations compare on the Francigena. I know there are more private...
Good news for pilgrims on the VF: https://www.viefrancigene.org/en/historic-pilgrim-hostel-reopens-in-siena-tuscany/
