There was an article in the Guardian concerning the start of the pilgrimage in England to Santiago de Compostella. A new 65 mile (104 KM) route has been signposted from Reading to Southampton where pilgrims could take ships to Spain.

 
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The St James Way is a very worthwhile and rewarding walk of four or five days. It passes through varied countryside, including canalside and riverside stretches, with Winchester Cathedral and many interesting villages and churches en route. There is very little infrastructure specifically for pilgrims, but the booklet published by the Confraternity of St James is superb and very informative.
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
