Ah David you threads on the Camino are always something to look for.

Over the years, I wonder how many feet are better off due to the first aid that you have been providing on the Camino?

Sorry if I embarrass you my friend, but in my opinion you are on the top of the Camino Angel List.

No worries..I can only say what worked for me,

I wore mid-height Gore-Tex trailrunners (Lowa Aeox) my feet didn’t get wet, not once and it rained for 2 weeks straight when I walked in April. It rained most of the way from SJPDP to Santiago. Thick mud and flooded trails.

Before going I was walking in my normal Lowa Renegade leather hiking boots with regular hiking socks...I got a couple blisters.

After 4 surgeries on my left knee I wear a heavy metal brace and have some unique foot issues due to 21 years on my feet in the military. I have been in boots pretty much my entire career wearing thick military wool socks. Not ever wanting to wear those again good regular hiking shoes and socks for me is do or die..... Literally

I suppose they can be classified as anti blister socks recommend to me by a local sport outfitter and worked for me. Here is the info :

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
