The last few days, it has really heated up in Santiago. 29c in the shade and not much wind has made it quite warm. According to the weather much of northern Spain has will have a similar weather pattern in the next few days.

The heat will continue in Santiago until Friday.

Not too long ago we talked about possibilities of snow in the mountains, now you need to bring your sun cream 8)

Last year it was also hot in May & June and there were dreadful fires in the forests around Santiago. I hope they escape this year.

I have not heard of any forest fires so far. Last week we had some rain, so it has not been that dry. But I am sure there will be some this year as well.

So far so good.
