Certainly not a spiritual book but for those who read 'murder mysteries', Michael Jecks has one of his series take place in Santiago on the early 1300s. It is part of the 'Last Templar' series and is entitled, 'The Templar's Penance'. Well written and the author does a good job of filling in who the main characters are.
