Thanks Vacajoe and Jim☀️ It’s a lot more difficult to even reach the starting line of the Camino. It can be a high price to pay emotionally and fiscally. Could I add that I’m on the 9th day from Lisbon, now west of Fatima, walking a little known Camino to the coastal town of Nazare, the crazy paper paradigms of current day travel are far behind. The road embraces me each morning. Perhaps the rewards of the walk are greater than ever. I’d like to ask the pilgrims of a 1000 years ago. Tomorrow, there will be more paper work and more hurdles, but today we pilgrims are here where we are able to find some peace on this enchanting journey amidst the fray.
