The Pilgrimage from May 25 on through Jun 2013

Hello All,

I plan to take The Pilgrimage during May 25 through June and would like to ask for any insight regarding weather expectations and available accommodations. If you can help out with any words of wisdom that would be great.
Just as background, I'll be exploring the walk on my own and this would be my first trip to the Camino. I'm extremely excited to make this walk at this stage of my life as I'm going through a big transition to my life. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jcabebe

You cannot control or predict the weather, so just prepare for it. Temperatures are not likely to be cold while walking. Have rain gear that keeps you and your equipment dry. I use a poncho with a front zipper; easy to put on and take off, and it also keeps my pack dry. A rain suit and pack cover also work, but water can slide down your back into the backpack regardless of the cover, and rain pants are a problem when putting them on or taking them off in start-and-stop rain.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Thanks for your tips, Falcon. Will definitely prepare my rain gear for this trip.
Also, this forum has been a great resource. I've been reading as many forum entries as possible to help prepare me for the walk. thanks to you all.
