I plan to walk the camino in sept 2015 (portugese) route
Hello,

I'm walking The Portugese Way on sun 20th september 2015 walking from Santiago to Porto. I'm finding it difficult to find out if there is a luggage transfer service we can use along this route as we are walking it backwards. Please can you help me and let me know of a transport company that we can use (contact name and number) so i can check if this luggage service is available? Perhaps if you could let me know cost per bag and maximum distance in kms per day to do a drop off to the next destination. I want to make sure this service is available before i bring extra bag on my travels. Your help would be much appreciated. Sharon

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Sharon,

TuiTrans is one company that transports baggage along the CP. Click their name above to see their web. Whether they transport in reverse is a moot point!

Good luck and Bom camino!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Another idea, considering that it is your extra bag, is to send it first, by mail to Tui, collect it there and after crossing the border, go to the post office in Valença and send it to Porto.
Otherwise, why don't you just buy a few essentials once you are in Porto?

Tuitrans provides services as far as Porto (anyway from Porto onwards to Santiago as Fernanda told me )
