The problem with Aquarians.

Russell Grant - he of astrology and Strictly Come Dancing fame, once said that Aquarians , "Do not learn from past experience". Being an Aquarian, as indeed RG is, I am now starting to plan my next camino, despite previous setbacks, as noted on this forum. Mark 4, it will be, how stupid is that?
Anyone else out there with the same problem?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Not stupid. You're just picking up where you left off, or going back to enjoy what you couldn't before. My star sign is Cancer, so I should never have left home in the first place! :D

Buen Camino!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

I for one am impressed. Take what you've learned from previous journeys to make your next Camino all that you would hope it to be. In truth there have been no failed attempts, each Camino served it's purpose ... and that was a continuing journey of self discovery which apparently you are still continuing. Buen Camino!

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I think it's commendable. If for any reason I am unable to finish it this autumn, I have no doubt I would go back and try again. Your post actually presented me with a bit of a personal challenge... I could easily get by without talking with anyone the entire way. I've actually gone weeks without talking apart from a few pleasantries (please and thank you) when purchasing items in shops. I'd happily talk to anyone who approaches me but I never go out of my way to approach anyone else. I need to do more of that... maybe a month without a keyboard and I might remember what my voice sounds like. I wish you luck on your next journey. Ultreya!

Sojourner, I have vague plans of doing the Regordane Way, linking to the Arles route, then getting to Puente la Reina - all in my stupendously slow way. If my visa period runs out, or I get tired or injured or sick, I'll just come back at a future date and start from where I left off. That's how I got from Le Puy to Tui then back to Finisterre. Unless someone pays me to go fast and meet deadlines, the time and adventure belong to me. St. James is yet to punish me for this lack of strategising, because I still can't think of a better thing to be doing than to be wandering along one of his many tracks.

So go get 'em, whenever you're ready.

Rob

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Being an Aquarian myself, I have to disagree with Russell Grant. I learn from my experiences. I take said experiences, apply the lessons learned to my next attempt and have a better chance of overcoming whatever the previous setback was. As will you.
