The Services Grid from the Salvador Credential - This shows you where you need to plan ahead about food

PLEASE reserve the day before for the bar restaurants in Poladura and Pajares. As you can see on the grid, there is nowhere in the villages for the chef to buy food either, so they need to know you are coming!

If you can ask around and put together a group booking, it makes it so much easier for them than if loads of people phone up separately.

More detailed info can be found on the albergue noticeboards along the way, and ask the hospitaleros.
