Hi Al, I was a lurker on this forum for two years in 2015 and '16 before becoming a member in 2017. In those two earlier years you were posting more often. I always liked seeing your avatar because I enjoyed reading your posts as they were kind, helpful, and often had a little humor thrown in.
Nice to "see" you today!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
What a happy and positive thread to add too :/) happy new year to you all...

I joined this forum last year in advance of my first walk from Leon to Compestella, and of course I really have now got the bug! So I’ll be returning twice this year once alone to do the first ‘French’ stage from PPDP to Burgos or Leon if I have the time, and then with my familia to do the final 100k, smaller legs less distance.

In between that I’ll be walking allot in the Welsh hills, I’m going to do the Taff walk from Cardiff upto the top of the Brecon Beacons, and I’m signed up for a 100k March run by the British Army across the south coast of the Uk, all for Charity that one....

All in all it’s going to be a fabulous year of walking.

Buen Camino a todos, y feliz año nuevo!

Happy New Year to all following the Gregorian Calendar! (Maybe I find the concept of March 25th a better one?)
Anyway, good luck with your planning and walking. Hope I get to join in at some point.
May your year be filled with joy, health and happiness.

Hi Al!

I was also a very frequent reader (ok, lurker) for several years and always loved your posts! My own first Camino is now a reality in the year ahead and came running back to the Camino Forum for inspiration and guidance. It’s a pleasure to see your post and familiar face!

Hi all,
I too was a lurker . I walked the CF in 2013 2015 and 2017 this year we are walking the
CP from Porto in April. I lurked until 2015 when I joined the forum and it has made each day I’m NOT on the Camino liveable . I’ve found the life lived on the Way is pure and simple and at 75 I’m looking for pure and simple.
Thank you and blessings to all the forum members this 2019.
