I used the murder of Thomas Becket as the introduction to my historical novel "PILGRIM FOOTPRINTS IN THE SANDS OF TIME".
It was interesting to research the four knights who murdered him (especially Sir Reginald FitzUrse) and the story revolves around a penitential pilgrimage by the FitzUrse family to Santiago.
