You can get free roaming with Three (UK) as they've just added Spain to the 'feel at home' roaming offer. This is probably the most cost effective method of using your phone whilst on the Camino if you're from the UK. To be eligible you need to be either on contract or of had a Three PAYG Sim for at least 30 days. As long as you request a free sim 30 days prior you can use it whilst in Spain from £10.

The PAYG plans available (each is valid for 30 days):

All in One 10 - 100 mins, 3,000 texts and 500MB data. £10.00

All in One 15 - 300 mins, 3,000 texts and Unlimited Data. £15.00

All in One 25 - 500 mins, 3,000 texts Unlimited Data. £25.00

I used this Three UK roaming service on the Primitivo in April 2015. Works very well. In Spain it uses the Movistar network so coverage was excellent.

I am in Spain right now taking advantage of the "Feel At Home" option and actually using my phone to write this post. In the last two weeks it worked really well for me and I had no issues so far. I only received a few text messages from Three informing me to make sure that I use the "Feel At Home" service correctly. I double checked with the link they provide and it tells me that it works automatically, so I am not expecting any unwanted bills when I get home. I hope they will add more countries in the future. So far so good.

Hola, I gearing up to start my 1st CdS and have seen people recommended sleeping bag liners to protect against bed bugs. Do these help or is it a myth? Should I add the extra weight of bringing one?
Michael @wisepilgrim had mentioned a new feature that he was developing for Wise Pilgrim, and it looks like it is now in operation. You can check the app and see in real time how many beds are...
